A hogtie connector is a small purchase with a very specific job. A stock is a complete restraint with a very different shape. Put them on separate mental shelves before shopping: are you adding to gear you own, or choosing a new kind of restraint? That one question prevents a surprising amount of “what am I supposed to attach this to?”

It is an accessory intended to connect compatible restraints. It may be sold on its own or as part of a set.
Are door restraints supplied with cuffs?
Not always. Some listings explicitly supply straps and clips only. Check the contents before checkout.
Can restraint accessories support body weight?
Only if the manufacturer explicitly rates the specific item for that purpose. Ordinary connectors are not suspension equipment.
Are stocks adjustable like soft cuffs?
They use a different construction. Check the model’s opening, adjustment and release information rather than treating them as another pair of cuffs.
